Tour Description

The 100 km plus journey would take at least a full day, for those who are well trained and willing to stay on the saddle many hours. For this reason we have divided the area into 4 sections, so that we have more choices based on the time available and the area of interest. The tour is particularly suitable for beginners and
families but is also open to the most experienced who want to discover tracks immersed in nature and places impossible to reach by car. The area is mostly flat with beautiful single tracks.

high TICINO: OLEGGIO/PORTO DELLA TORRE bridges ring

A varied path that can be ridden in both directions with non-binding elevations that crosses the canals and the
wildest zones of cultivated areas and woodlands. Several points of interest (including Cascina Montelame and the Baraggia area to the West, Panperduto and Ansa di Castel Novate to the East) can be reached either on dirt tracks or on bike paths or on paved roads that are not as popular.

classic TICINO: OLEGGIO/ TURBIGO bridges ring

The track covers about 30-35 km. It is passable in both directions with variants that can highlight the off-road part, in Summer it remains cool due to the presence of large areas in the shades. In the Piedmont part you can cross the Old Mill, a beautiful beach of white stones and then arrive at the Park Center of Villa Picchetta. Crossing the river in Turbigo you can travel to Nosate, or re-enter following the Naviglio Grande canal. The Oleggio Bridge can be reached either on the bike path along the canal,on a dirt road that skirts a secondary
fence, or via a single track in the grove before crossing the Villoresi canal.

TICINO pheasant: from TURBIGO bridge to the Woods of the pheasants

A truly unique itinerary that combines the unspoiled nature and the works of man in the control of water. The first very natural part that runs along the river can be flanked by the return on the Naviglio Grande through picturesque villages. From the bridge of Turbigo you enter the American and Beech woods, then continue to the
Bernate Lanca (near there is also the Celtic Calendar) and then into the woods of the Pheasant, where there are some fun single tracks nearby the Park Center. For the simple return on a bike path, you move towards Casterno and follow the course of the Naviglio Grande from Robecco sul Naviglio.

TICINO LANGOSCO: from turbigo bridge to cERANO

This stunning trip with mild slopes favors the water element that is evident and present in almost the entire excursion. The wetter and shady environment, alternating with irrigated crops, makes it pleasant when the
heat is sweltering. From the Turbigo Bridge you pass in Piedmont in a single track along the river to the 7 Fontane
resort. You will graft the tight Langosco Canal up to the Mandelli tower, then cross the Upper Padania Road to reach the Elioterapic Colony by forest. Few more kilometers of trails and back roads to the right of Cerano and you reach the Bath Bridge and the beach on Ticino in Casette resort. The return can be faced on alternative paths mainly in the middle of the fields, or from the Lombard side crossing the Boffalora bridge.
