Tour Description
The area covers three main zones on which to trigger routes that commit a half day but if you want you can also spend a full day with restorative breaks in lovely places.

To the South, close to Agrate Conturbia Golf Club, there is an area dedicated to the cultivation of vines. You can cross the rows and immerse yourself into the surrounding heather. A mix of particularly intense scents and colors at the beginning of autumn. The trails are quite flat, with some more technical passages, alternating between open spaces and wooded areas.
Bosco Solivo reserve and Lagoni natural park
Going back to the beginning of Lake Maggiore we have the Solivo a Forest Reserve and the Mercurago Lagoni a Nature Park, where we find an incredible variety of landscapes, colours and scents in a few kilometers without excessive elevations. A pleasant and relaxing experience, especially suitable for beginners and families who can experience different terrain situations with pleasure. The wilder trails of the Reserve, with some more or less accentuated ups and downs, well contrast with the pristine environment of pine forests, ponds and horse clearings that you find in the Lagoni.
Mount Barro, the Sass del Pizz, mount Cornaggia
Moving further North we have a slightly more difficult and challenging areas that gives great satisfaction in the spectacular views obtained after more or less intense efforts. The mountain names are Barro, the Sass del Pizz, Cornaggia, that tower over the villlages of Invorio and Colazza. Single tracks and forest routes. Or you can opt for a quieter but equally scenic ride on Montrigiasco via Dagnente and Oleggio Castello; in this case we also follow a small section of road.
Prepare for your tour
Whatever is your level, we alway recommend to have this things with you:
Wearing helmet is compulsory
Repair kit, spare tubes, pump (if you rent a bike it should be furnished with it)
Backpack with water, food and spare clothes, a rain jacket. Don't forget we are up to mountains, the weather and temperature can change in few minutes.
Proper shoes as some walking can be necessary , no Flip-fLop and sandals
