Tour Description
The area between Lake Maggiore and the northern part of the Valgrande National Park is truly vast. The possibilities for excursions are almost endless! This is why we invite you to contact Elia Sacchelli to discuss your idea. You will be able to choose from many pre-established itineraries or have him help you build your dream trek. Instead, here are some proposals, to give you a taste of what you can discover.
WILD TASTING
A ring between 10 and 12 km with about 900 metres of altitude difference straddling the region of Lakes Maggiore, Mregozzo and Orta and the inner part of Valgrande.
THE BALCONY ON LAKE MAGGIORE
Let's discover an easy-to-reach area bordering the Valgrande National Park, but without going into it. This area, close to the now famous Lago Maggiore Zipline and the Alpe Colle Bookshop, is a very fascinating area with very easy rides that are also suitable for families. Or it will be possible to do more challenging routes such as climbing Monte Spalavera and Monte Zeda.
TENT TREKKING ON ALTA VIA LAGO MAGGIORE - LOOP
Discover a very fascinating ring-route with the addition of sleeping in a tent. A very suggestive itinerary between Lake Maggiore and Valgrande.
ALTA VIA LAGO MAGGIORE
A very demanding multi-day trek that is organised in several versions. Refuges, bivouacs or in tents. The Adventure will lead you to discover stunning landscapes between Mergozzo and cannobio on the Alta Via number 2 of Lake Maggiore.
VALGRANDE CROSSING
There are many possible itineraries in Valgrande. Real adventures where the phone doesn't even pick up for days. There will be a 2 days option ore a more demanding 3 days option.
